Corporations would benefit from preferred alternative

Editor:

America’s original sin, slavery, emanated from an insatiable need for cheap labor. To this day, America — especially Aspen the destination resort — needs mass quantities of cheap labor and can’t function without it.

The preferred alternative, with its emphasis on mass transit, is designed to move mass quantities of cheap labor up and down the valley.

Who would benefit from the preferred alternative?

Not commuters, as commuting times would not meaningfully decrease. Not tourists, who would still sit in the same traffic. Not workers, who would see lower wages. And certainly not locals, who would lose both a chunk of the Marolt Open Space and the functionality of Cemetery Lane.

But it certainly would help the corporations who need a large supply of cheap labor in order to keep the resort running. The preferred alternative is corporate welfare, as the destination resort business model simply doesn’t work without lots of cheap labor.

The preferred alternative is not designed to serve your needs, gentle reader, because you are not important. Stop being so self-centered, and think of RH’s needs when you vote. The spice must flow.
